About The Position

This role is an entry-level position that serves as the first step in a career pathway toward a degree, promotion, and leadership. The Behavior Specialist will use play, games, and evidence-based strategies to help children build communication, social, and life skills. The role requires energy and compassion, and involves following personalized plans designed by clinical leaders. It is a flexible, on-the-go role where no two days are the same. Prior experience is not required as training and support will be provided. The position focuses on helping children achieve life-changing milestones, providing hope and relief to families, and offering opportunities for personal growth through paid training, coaching, and career milestones.

Requirements

H.S. Diploma or GED
Flexible availability (especially Mon–Fri afternoons/evenings + Saturdays)
Proof of vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, COVID – CA mandated)
Reliable transportation
Comfort working with diverse populations
Willingness to complete training and documentation
Ability to frequently sit and stand; keeping pace with your client
