About The Position

The May Center School for Brain Injury and Neurobehavioral Disorders in Norwood, MA is seeking a Behavior Specialist / Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide specialized instruction and classroom leadership for children and adolescents with brain injuries, neurobehavioral disorders, and other complex diagnoses. This role involves developing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and training staff using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The May Center is a unique pediatric program specializing in both education and rehabilitation, offering an innovative and supportive environment.

Requirements

• Master's degree in ABA, psychology, special education, or a related field.
• BCBA certification or must be in the process of obtaining certification.
• Strong skills in problem-solving, leadership, and clinical assessment.
• Passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and classroom leadership for children and adolescents with brain injuries, neurobehavioral disorders, and other complex diagnoses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Conduct assessments.
• Train staff to support school-aged children with developmental disabilities.
