About The Position

California Behavioral Treatment Center is expanding its team of compassionate professionals. They provide individualized ABA therapy to children and adolescents across Los Angeles County, with a strong commitment to culturally responsive care. The role involves working directly with children, supporting families, following treatment plans, and helping each child grow in a way that honors their culture, identity, and values. Behavior Interventionists provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with developmental disabilities in home, school, and community settings. This role involves working one on one with clients, helping them build communication, social, and self-help skills while collaborating with a supportive and experienced clinical team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma – REQUIRED
  • Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must pass the TB test.
  • Must pass criminal background check & fingerprint clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s in ABA, Psychology, Child Development, Education, Communication Disorders, Sociology or related field (preferred but not required).
  • Spanish candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 ABA services to children and adolescents.
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Collect and record data on client progress.
  • Support ABA treatment programs in home and school environments.
  • Assist in developing treatment programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
