About The Position

Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a Behavior Health Technician / BHT in an ABA clinic! These clinics provide Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) to children aged 3-5, integrating closely with early intervention services. This full-day program aims to ensure a seamless transition between pre-school special education classrooms and the clinic setting, promoting continuous skill development.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year experience working with children with developmental and behavioral challenges, preferably in an educational or clinical setting
  • Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Ability to collect and document data accurately and efficiently
  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
  • PA Department of Human Services FBI Clearance
  • PA Department of Education FBI Clearance
  • TB Screening
  • Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts

Nice To Haves

  • associate or bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to implement instructional and behavioral strategies outlined in their Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP).
  • Support the development of communication, social, and adaptive skills through structured and naturalistic teaching methods.
  • Prompt interventions in the areas of: behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and peer interaction skills based on the treatment plan goals provided by a Behavior Analyst / BCBA.
  • Collect real-time data on target behaviors and skill acquisition using digital tools and software.

Benefits

  • Hourly BHT rate of $25.00 per hour and progresses to $26.50 per hour
  • Salary of $39,000 per year with PTO accrual and paid holidays possible after 90 day introductory period
  • Flexibility to cover all 3 locations of Clinic - Coatesville, West Chester and Downingtown for sub coverage
