About The Position

Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a Behavior Consultant / Behavior Analyst / BCBA in partnership with the Chester County Intermediate Unit! This is an independent contract position and a member of an interdisciplinary clinical team, providing anticipated school-based hybrid support in Southern Chester County, PA school districts. Hours are primarily school-based, but must have flexibility for in-home parent training. BC / BA may work during school, after-school, or evening hours depending on program needs. CCRES is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of dedicated and highly-trained staff members who provide quality services to schools, children, adults, and families. We work in partnership with the Home & Community Services (H&CS) program of the CCIU to provide the highest quality behavioral health school district services to individuals with special needs.

Requirements

• BCBA with PA Behavior Specialist License (OR)
• Master’s Degree in applied behavior analysis (ABA) or a related program AND PA License in one of the following: Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, Social Worker, Behavior Specialist, Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner:
• AND At least 12 credits in ABA from a college/university and 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA
• OR At least 1 year of full-time experience in the provision of ABA under the supervision of a BCBA or similar certification and 40 hours of training in ABA.
• Clearances current within 12 months
• PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
• PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
• FBI - Department of Human Service clearance - Service code: 1KG738
• FBI - Department of Education clearance - Service code: 1KG6XN
• TB screening - current within 3 months
• Professional Liability Insurance

Responsibilities

• Write and monitor individual treatment plans for children diagnosed with behavioral and mental health disorders. These disorders include, but are not limited to: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD).
• Provide assistance in the development of adaptive skills in order for the diagnosed child to take a more positive role in the school, home & community setting.
• Provide prescribed behavioral consultation to the family and / or school.
• Train Support Staff on appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Write Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA).

Benefits

• $5,000 - Sign on bonus: Eligible to BCBAs in H&CS that are hired for a minimum of 25 billable hours. Bonus of $2,500: 1st installment is after the first billable service. Second installment of $2,500 issued 90 days after hire.
