About The Position

Help students thrive through meaningful behavioral support! Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Behavior Coach/Interventionist to support students, educators, and school teams throughout the 2026–2027 school year in the Surprise, AZ area. Conduct student and classroom observations to identify behavioral needs and develop effective intervention strategies. Develop, implement, and monitor Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to promote positive student outcomes. Provide consultation, coaching, and training to teachers, support staff, and educational teams on evidence-based behavior management practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students' behavioral, social-emotional, and educational success.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license (front and back)
Valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (front and back)
Social Security Card
Obtain and maintain Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) certification
College Diploma
Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or Applied Behavior Analysis OR Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in educational/special education with five(5) years of working with students with behavioral and emotional disabilities
