Requirements

  • Master’s degree required
  • Professional licensure required. BCBA, LICSW, LMHC, other related certifications/degrees considered.
  • The ability to communicate effectively clearly conveying direction, desired outcomes, and vision to staff, individuals and families served, government agencies, community partners, funding sources, and senior management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours in a variety of locations (group homes in the community, loud day programs, cubicle-style main office building).
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, autism, and brain injury preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with substance use and mental health disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of behavior plans, medication treatment plans, and restrictive practices.
  • Utilize behavior data collection and analysis to implement effective behavioral support strategies.
  • Assists in determining intake, transfer and discharge decisions regarding individuals utilizing program/services.
  • Provides training and support to staff, caregivers, and family members.
  • Documents and maintains up-to-date individual case notes in the Electronic Health Record related to clinical goals and progress.
  • Assists in implementation of Positive Behavioral Supports framework and PBS trainer.
  • Participates in Human Rights Committee, Clinical Meetings, and PBS Leadership meetings, and other as required.
  • Maintains clinical support presence throughout community and home-based programs.
