This is a hybrid role with a combination of in-person supervision support and telehealth, offering remote flexibility for up to 50% of in-home cases. The caseload will include local cases in the Hartford region with some cases in Putnam, CT, requiring only quarterly travel for in-person sessions. The company offers initial onboarding support with over 60 hours of comprehensive training during the first 3-4 weeks, covering clinical best practices, Central Reach usage, goal writing, clinical problem-solving, CPT codes, and telehealth assessments. A Clinical Development team provides weekly office hours or 1:1 support as needed. Educational and mentorship opportunities include monthly CEUs, an annual in-house conference with leading researchers, and chances to lead sponsored research initiatives. The company values flexibility and trust, not requiring contracts or non-compete agreements, with employment being at-will. There is a clear path to make values-based clinical decisions based on client and family needs. As a CASP Provider, ALP grants access to CASP’s entire CEU library with over 75 CEU-approved courses, plus additional CEUs via ALP events. A clear promotion framework exists from BCBA to Senior Clinical Director. For new BCBA certificants, the 8-hour supervision course approved by the BACB is offered. Unlimited referral bonuses and a reasonable expectation of billable hours are provided. There is an opportunity to partner with the internal DEI council. Study support for BCBA candidates and in-house RBT courses are available. A Support Center addresses administrative needs, including client intake, recruiting, payroll, HR, billing, credentialing/contracting, and scheduling.

Requirements

  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Active LBA Certification in the state of Connecticut as issued by the Connecticut State Department of Public Health
  • This position is subject to a criminal background check, TB test, Pre-employment Physical Exam, which we will pay for

Responsibilities

  • Inspire and guide Behavior Technicians through effective supervision and support, ensuring that they are implementing treatment plans with a high degree of reliability and fidelity.
  • Conduct FBAs and develop innovative ABA programs that include continuously evaluating client needs, providing parent education, and problem solving, to help each client reach their potential.
  • Stay calm and professional in challenging situations, adapt to change with flexibility, and continuously seek opportunities for growth.
  • Proactively communicate, take initiative, and welcome learning to create a safe environment for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
