Requirements

  • Hold & Maintain Active Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Credential
  • Meet all supervision requirements, including provision of supervision to new BCBAs, as specified by BACB
  • Hold & Maintain License in the State(s) in which you provide services, as required.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a BCBA or comparable experience (e.g., experience in a BCaBA position).
  • Excellent professional, leadership, organization, and communication skills (both written and oral).
  • When implementing emergency procedures ('PMT’), must perform maneuvers and actions associated with managing students independently or as part of an orchestrated team effort.
  • Must be able to physically care for younger children up to 6 years old with or without assistance of one or additional designated persons.
  • The job duties may occasionally require an employee to safely demonstrate heavy to very heavy physical demands associated with ‘hand on’ efforts when physically managing students, under routine, emergency, and/or aggressive behavior management scenarios.
  • Required to follow all safety procedures and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee ABA services for assigned cases
  • Lead and conduct assessments
  • Develop client treatment goals and objectives
  • Develop behavior intervention plans
  • Review graphs and programming and make modifications as necessary to promote progress
  • Provide consultation and/or training to local community providers (e.g., schools or other service providers)
  • Lead and participate in meetings
  • Provide parent training
  • Working closely with the Clinic Practice Administrator, maintain all insurance requirements for ABA services
  • Ensure adherence to clinical requirements for insurance services
  • Create and manage client and staff schedules
  • Apply Behavior Analytic strategies to improve staff performance
  • Participate in staff evaluation process
  • Provide training and on-going supervision to RBTs, BCBAs & BCaBAs
  • Participate in the recruitment process for staff
  • Participate in provision of supervised field work for behavior analytic candidates as assigned
  • Model high levels of professionalism and confidentiality and ensure staff maintain professionalism and confidentiality
  • Other duties as assigned
