About The Position
The Southwest West Central Service Cooperative (SWWC) is seeking a Behavior Analyst or Behavior Specialist to serve districts in the Redwing, MN area. The Behavior Analyst conducts descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and provides interpretations. They design and supervise behavior analytic interventions. The Behavior Specialist assists the Educational Learning Center in designing and implementing child-specific individualized intervention plans, conducts behavioral assessments, and assists with program design, data collection, and monitoring.
Requirements
- Master's Degree required for Behavior Analyst.
- Must have or be willing to obtain Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification for Behavior Analyst.
- Willing to obtain licensure as a Behavior Analyst from the MN Board of Psychology for Behavior Analyst.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Associate's Degree and extensive experience in a job-related field OR Bachelor's degree with moderate experience in a job-related field for Behavior Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Conducts descriptive and systematic (e.g., analogue) behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and provides behavior analytic interpretations of the results.
- Designs and supervises behavior analytic interventions.
- Assists Educational Learning Center in the design and implementation of child-specific individualized intervention plans.
- Conducts behavioral assessments.
- Assists with program design, data collection and monitoring.
- Develops and implements appropriate assessments and behavioral intervention methods for use in unfamiliar situations and for a range of cases.
- Consults and provides staff training to support intervention plans at school and community.
- Provides technical support and in-service training programs for teachers and other staff on applied behavioral analysis.
- Maintains a caseload of students supported at the site.
- Provides regular service reviews to ensure ongoing compliance with implementation of behavior plans.
- Provides feedback on behavioral assessments, interventions, and strategies.
- Serves as a liaison between Educational Learning Center and other agencies.
