About The Position

Action Behavior Centers is hiring a Behavior Analyst in Training through its Rising Stars program for BTs or RBTs accruing supervision hours. The role provides a path toward becoming a BCBA, including supervision support and a competitive BCBA salary after passing the exam. The position is based in a center and focuses on early intervention therapy for children with autism, ages 18 months to 8 years. Teammates are guaranteed 32–40 hours per week, including when patient cancellations occur. The posting states that candidates should sit for the BACB exam within six months of joining.

Requirements

• Be a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) accruing supervision hours.
• Have accrued 85% of fieldwork hours (1,700 of 2,000 hours).
• Have completed all restricted hours.
• Provide proof of enrollment in an accredited applicable master's program.

Responsibilities

• Provide early intervention therapy in a center-based setting.
• Work with children in early childhood, ages 18 months to 8 years.
• Collect data and implement individualized treatment plans for each child.
• Collaborate with BCBAs and teammates.
• Allocate eight hours per week outside the direct-care schedule to work on BDS modules.
• Sit for the BACB exam within six months of joining the team.
