About The Position

Provides behavior analytic assessment, intervention, skill development curricula, and education to individuals and families/caregivers of individuals with developmental, intellectual, emotional, and behavioral problems in a behavior analytic program. Services should result in improvements in the patient, caregiver, and/or family's quality of life. Provide leadership and coaching to other team members regarding implementation of applied behavioral analytic interventions across assessment and treatment. Serve as more senior behavior analyst on interdisciplinary teams and to other behavioral team staff. In addition, work alongside families to provide caregiver, teacher and other staff training on interventions while also carefully monitoring the effectiveness and implementation of behavioral treatments across settings. Work in collaboration with leadership on quality improvement, program development and other special projects as appropriate. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social sciences, social work, psychology, counseling, special education, behavior analysis or other related social/behavior science field.
  • Minimum one (1) year experience working with and providing direct care to neurodiverse individuals and their families (for Behavior Analyst I).
  • Minimum 3-years experience working as a BCBA developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive assessment and treatment for neurodiverse individuals (for Behavior Analyst II).
  • Washington State License as a Behavior Analyst (LBA) in good standing.
  • Certification by a National Credentialing Board for Behavior Analysts (e.g., BACB).
  • Within 12 weeks of employment, must obtain, and maintain in good standing, medical or allied health professional staff privileges that are not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary, except for normal probationary periods due to initial appointment.
