Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
About The Position
Devereux - Florida is seeking a compassionate Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide critical intervention to children and adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral health needs. This position, based in Viera, FL, is responsible for developing and implementing clients' master treatment plans, collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to review treatment and goals, and assessing progress and future needs. The Behavior Analyst will oversee the assessment and discharge planning process to establish goals for reducing challenging behavior, instructing in functionally equivalent responses, and functional communication.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in psychology, special education or related field
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) required
- Strong applied behavior analysis skills
- Significant experience working with children/adolescents/adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driver’s license must be maintained

Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of the clients master treatment plan
- Works within a multidisciplinary team to review the clients treatment and goals
- Assesses progress and future needs

- Writing Positive Behavior support plans
- Conducting FBAs
- Training staff
