About The Position

Building Blocks Learning Center partners with local school districts to provide high-quality Before and After School Enrichment Programs that support students' academic and social development. The center is seeking dedicated and energetic Teachers for full-time or part-time work supporting children outside regular school hours. The Before and After School Teacher is responsible for the safety, well-being, education, and supervision of each student in their care. Teachers provide a safe, structured, nurturing environment, create weekly lesson plans using the center's innovative curriculum, and build positive relationships with employees, students, parents, and the community. The center is Keystone STARS-accredited and offers competitive pay, supportive leadership, and opportunities for growth through professional development and ongoing training.

Requirements

Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required).
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children.
Strong knowledge of child development and early learning best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
Commitment to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field (preferred).
