Before and After School program Site Director
About The Position
AlphaBEST Education is hiring a Site Director for their before and after-school programs at elementary schools within the Jeffco School District. This role involves leading a program designed to inspire and engage students beyond the regular school day in a fun, safe environment. The Site Director will manage daily operations, oversee curriculum, ensure child safety, maintain licensing compliance, manage resources, and supervise staff. The position offers a $500.00 hiring bonus and pays $20.25-$23.25 per hour. The hours are a split shift, Monday-Friday, from 6:30 am-8:30 am and 2:00 pm-6:00 pm.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred
- Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
- To meet Colorado licensing requirements, you must be at least 21 years old and meet ONE of the following: A Bachelor's degree in a related field (education, recreation, child development, etc.), At least 2 years of college and 910+ hours of verified experience working with kids (ages 4+), Or 3 years of verified experience + 6 college credit hours OR 40 hours of training related to school-age care

Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
- Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
- Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
- Make child safety the top priority at all times
- Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
- Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
- Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met
- Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
- Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success
