About The Position
AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students. These programs aim to help students discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment. As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you will help shape meaningful before and after school moments that contribute to children's learning, growth, and thriving. The ideal candidate is an early learning professional who enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment, takes child safety seriously, and is flexible, reliable, and ready to assist wherever needed.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or higher
- 48 College Completed Credits
- Successfully passed a paraeducator exam
Responsibilities
- Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
- Make child safety the top priority at all times
- Keep the space clean and organized
- Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
- Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff
