About The Position

Looking for substitutes for our Fort Discovery Before and/or After School Childcare. Hours are assigned as needed and may be in the morning session, afternoon session or both, depending. Childcare substitutes make $15.75 / hour and substitute jobs range from 3 - 7 hours, depending on the position assigned to cover.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET
• Background check at time of employment.

Responsibilities

• Delivers children directly from/to parents, guardians, or designee for the purpose of ensuring safety of children and meeting established custodial guidelines.
• Distributes instruction and/or play materials for the purpose of providing required supplies for planned activities.
• Maintains program equipment and work areas (e.g. toys, bulletin boards, games, instructional tools, computers, site facility, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring availability of items and/or providing a safe learning environment.
• Monitors individual an/or groups of students in a variety of settings and movement to and from designated areas (e.g. snack time, group or individual game time, playground, etc.) for the purpose of providing safe and positive learning environment.
