About The Position

This position is for a Before & After School Daycare Team Lead at Kateri School. The role involves working with school-aged children and requires strong communication, patience, and conflict-resolution skills. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, with flexible midday options. There is an option for a two-hour unpaid break or to work through the day assisting as a lunch monitor or in other classrooms.

Requirements

• Valid First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication, patience, and strong conflict-resolution skills.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum [1 year] working with school-aged children preferred.
• A degree, diploma, or ongoing studies in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child & Youth Care is a major asset.
• Knowledge of Kanien’kéha language is an asset.
