About The Position

The Northeast YMCA is looking to fill positions in our After School Program. This role offers the opportunity to get paid to play and have fun! If you love working with children and are available to work Monday-Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., we encourage you to apply. As an after school mentor, you will have the opportunity to work with youth in grades K-8th. The YMCA provides its team members with a stream of development opportunities, starting with First Aid/CPR Training and Certification. Northeast Y Staff meet monthly for paid trainings and development sessions. Further development will be offered depending on the assigned site.

Requirements

• Must be over the age of 18
• Have a valid Florida driver's license
• Able to pass a level 2 background screening
• Able to pass a DOT physical (NE site only)

• Leading youth in creative activities
• Homework assistance
