About The Position

St. Joseph School in Cockeysville is seeking a qualified part-time Before and After Care Coordinator for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate should have management experience and experience working with young children. The coordinator will be responsible for the direct supervision of students in the program, as well as program staff. The position’s hours are 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operations of the Before and After Care Program.
  • Supervise aides in planning appropriate social, physical, and creative activities for students.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for students.
  • Record daily student attendance.
  • Work with the Business Office on monthly billing.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding concerns or issues, schedule changes, and general administrative matters.
  • Hire and supervise Before and After Care staff members.
  • Communicate all significant concerns and issues to school administration.
  • Comply with all regulations related to the State Letter of Compliance.
  • Complete all paperwork required to update and maintain the State Letter of Compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
