About The Position

Premium Distributors of Virginia is hiring a full-time Beer Merchandiser for routes in Sterling and Herndon, Virginia. The position involves independently traveling to local grocery stores and other beverage outlets to merchandise products along assigned routes. The schedule is five days per week, with weekends required and a 6:00 AM start. Compensation starts at $19.50 per hour, with overtime, a monthly car allowance, and mileage reimbursement. Career advancement may be available after six months. The role requires reliable personal automobile transportation, a valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and auto insurance meeting company and state requirements. Employees must be able to regularly lift, push, and pull products weighing 25 to 50 pounds. Offers are contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old or meet the minimum legal age requirements in the state.
Have reliable personal automobile transportation.
Maintain a valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and auto insurance coverage meeting company and state minimum requirements.
Be able to regularly lift, push, and pull products weighing 25 to 50 pounds.
Have 0 to 6 months or more of general work experience.

Responsibilities

Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure products are stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly along assigned routes.
Transport products between backroom and display floor using manual equipment such as a pallet jack or hand truck.
Use company-issued technology and systems for routing compliance, efficiency, and account monitoring.
Complete merchandising checkouts and upload display and backstock photos using company systems to document execution in accounts.
Maintain and organize backstock areas by consolidating products to support proper inventory levels and product freshness.
Perform other projects or duties as assigned.
