In your role as a Beer Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for performing daily inspections on all safety sensitive equipment (trucks, forklifts, electric jacks, etc.) as per OSHA and DOT regulations. You will pick and check customer orders accurately and efficiently, load and unload trucks, and verify shipping and receiving quantities. Maintaining a clean warehouse and work environment, operating all equipment safely, and immediately reporting any accidents, unsafe conditions, or injuries are also key responsibilities. The position requires maintaining a professional appearance with company-supplied uniforms, delivering orders to customers promptly and professionally, and planning routes for economical use of time and equipment. This is a safety-sensitive position, meaning job performance can affect the safety of the employee and others, and the employee must perform responsibilities without causing a threat. The job involves frequently working in outside weather conditions, and exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration. The warehouse is not heated or cooled, with the exception of a cooler maintained between 32 and 40 degrees, and can be very loud due to vehicles and forklifts.
