This is a field-based role requiring consistent presence in customer accounts throughout the day during designated standard business hours to ensure customer satisfaction. The role is responsible for the promotion, sales, and merchandising of products for an assigned route. This includes conferring with customers to understand their needs, identifying the best product, processing orders, and scheduling delivery. The representative will visit each account as scheduled, develop rapport with decision-makers, and promote products and services by recommending displays, POS materials, and organizing cooler or shelf sets. Responsibilities also include rotating product, ensuring no out-of-date beer and accurate pricing, reviewing inventory levels, determining quantities needed, entering orders, and following up on stock issues or missed deliveries. The role requires compliance with ABC regulations and supplier requirements, handling close-dated product, following up on leads for new brands/SKUs, communicating new products and promotions, requesting and placing POS material, communicating with management about competitor activities and business outlook, resolving customer concerns, completing customer surveys, and working safely using proper PPE and safe lifting/defensive driving techniques. The representative is responsible for the care of company assets like an iPad and vehicle, and for regular attendance to ensure timely product delivery.
