About The Position

Superior Beverage Group is a family owned and operated company that has been around since 1922. Our Account Managers assure effective distribution of our products and attainment of sales objectives by carrying out the duties and responsibilities of selling, servicing and merchandising retail accounts within assigned territories.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience required; beverage industry experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence others.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet daily goals and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of beverage merchandising standards and product distribution best practices.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to address issues in a customer-oriented manner.
  • Ability to maneuver heavy products (e.g., 168-pound kegs and 35-pound cases) regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Follow established sales processes, including SBG’s 10 steps for sales calls and retail execution standards.
  • Establishes and grows productive, professional relationships with store level managers and personnel
  • Strives to ensure all of SBG’s retail execution standards are being met
  • Executes retail programs as defined by SBG chain management, ensures planogram integrity
  • Review customer-generated orders, adjust as necessary, and ensure appropriate inventory levels.
  • Takes inventory and writes replenishment orders
  • Ensure product displays are organized, rotated, and adhere to quality and pricing standards.
  • Set up new displays and refresh existing ones as needed; ensure proper placement of point-of-sale (POS) materials.
  • On the day the order is delivered executes the following; Organize product in back room
  • Ensure product is rotated according to SBG’s product quality standards
  • Fill U-Boats as needed
  • Build displays
  • Rotates SBG products from displays to shelves
  • Ensure correct pricing and point of sale are in use
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulation and adheres to all company policies and procedures
  • Works cooperatively with delivery and merchandising support
  • Works safely and follows SBG’s safety policies and procedures
