About The Position

Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty and convenience services in your community, and keep the customer at the centre of everything you do. This role is a temporary replacement for a leave of absence for approximately 6 months, with potential for future career opportunities at Pharmaprix. The Beauty Manager will manage the Beauty department's resources to maximize sales and achieve objectives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about achieving results, demonstrate enlightened leadership, analyze and solve problems, mobilize staff, build collaborative relationships, and build trust.

Requirements

  • Sales experience with a proven ability to achieve goals.
  • Experience in cosmetics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service-oriented.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Critical thinking and decision-making abilities to solve customer needs.
  • Ability to react based on tasks and objectives defined by the management team.
  • Develop an annual personal development plan.
  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacist owner and store manager.

Responsibilities

  • Employ sales tracking tools and the company dashboard to establish and achieve sales objectives.
  • Sell products and services to customers while coaching and advising staff.
  • Maximize sales by developing effective sales techniques.
  • Ensure staff members meet their productivity goals.
  • Prioritize the customer and provide superior customer service.
  • Monitor ISSC survey objectives and results and communicate them to the team.
  • Lead by example in the appropriate use of the electronic Customer Relationship application to provide superior customer service.
  • Book appointments for events and manage the schedule based on the increase in annual events.
  • Promote products through marketing and encourage the use of the PC Optimum program.
  • Ensure staff are trained on beauty product sales standards.
  • Guide, coach, train, and motivate staff.
  • Create a sales-conducive environment.
  • Prepare performance reviews in collaboration with the store manager.
  • Explain and implement the principles of "blue culture" and "BE values".
  • Create an environment conducive to applying the principles of "blue culture" and "BE values".
  • Use company tools to track sales.
  • Ensure cosmetic department operating standards are implemented.
  • Identify peak periods and schedule shifts accordingly.
