About The Position

The Desire Company is seeking experienced Chicago-based Beauty and Haircare Professionals to participate in paid video collaborations with leading beauty and personal care brands. This is a great chance to use your knowledge and hands-on experience to create content that helps shoppers make confident purchase decisions.
Project Overview:
Filming Location: Chicago, IL (local experts preferred)
Time on Set: Approximately 3–5 hours (half-day; subject to change)
Final Deliverables: 1 Product Recommendation Video per project
Pay: Starting at $1,500
How It Works:
Once you express interest, we will pitch you to relevant brand and retail partners. If selected, we’ll coordinate a pre-production conversation before filming.
By joining our expert community, you’ll be considered on an ongoing basis for future paid projects that match your expertise, availability, and interests.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in beauty, haircare, cosmetology, styling, or related areas.
• Strong understanding of beauty and haircare products, tools, or treatments within your area of expertise, and the ability to assess and communicate their value to consumers.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
• Must be located in the Chicago area.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in media production or public speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate products and provide knowledgeable insights related to beauty and haircare.
• Participate in a brief pre-production call to align on project goals and expectations.
• Collaborate with our production team during filming sessions.
• Communicate recommendations in a clear, approachable way for consumers.
