About The Position

The Beauty Coordinator is responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team. This role ensures an excellent customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The Beauty Coordinator models exceptional customer service, creates a positive internal and external customer experience, and promotes a culture of honesty and integrity while maintaining confidentiality. They orchestrate truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor, and train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles. The role ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded, and communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor. They ensure Associates complete tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed, and monitor the productivity of the team, coaching as necessary. The Beauty Coordinator organizes and rotates back stock for easy replenishment, maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards, and upholds all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom area. They ensure compliance with recycling and, where applicable, hazardous waste programs. Communication is key, accurately and effectively communicating with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities, and providing progress updates. The role involves providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback, partnering with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness, and ensuring adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures. Additionally, they promote credit and loyalty programs, support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs, and promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1 year retail experience
• 6 months of leadership experience
