About The Position
ActionLink is seeking an enthusiastic Dyson Beauty Advisor to create buzz inside Sephora and Ulta. From showcasing Dyson’s iconic styling tools to delivering unforgettable demos, you’ll turn everyday shoppers into loyal fans—all while doing what you love. This role involves creating iconic beauty experiences and redefining glam, one demo at a time. The position requires a Cosmetology license and offers opportunities to grow skills and connect with other beauty lovers. The role is 18 hours per week, with three 6-hour shifts, including one scheduled every Saturday. Open availability is required Wednesday–Friday and Sunday for the remaining two shifts. The role is located in Sephora and Ulta stores in the areas of Dublin, Stockton, Brentwood, and Pleasanton.
Requirements
- Cosmetology license required
- Bubbly, bold and ready to chat with every shopper
- Retail beauty sales, product demonstration, or hair styling experience
- Familiarity with Nordstrom, Sephora, or Ulta
- Ability to share product know-how, tips and tricks with individuals or in groups
- Travel-ready with trusty transportation
- Possession of a smart device for connection and reporting
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs and stay on your feet
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming and exciting beauty-forward experience in Ulta and Sephora stores
- Demonstrate Dyson's high-tech hair tools with confidence and flair
- Engage customers with personalized styling tips and product knowledge
- Help associates become Dyson-savvy so they can share the magic with customers
- Keep displays sleek, stylish, and totally irresistible
- Share insights and photos to help fine-tune the experience
