About The Position

JASPER GENERAL HOSPITAL is seeking a Part-Time Beautician to provide a wide range of services to clients. This role involves establishing rapport and trust with residents, ensuring a comfortable experience during appointments. The Beautician will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace and tools in compliance with health and safety regulations. This is a contracted position, requiring accommodation of resident schedules and meticulous record-keeping of daily schedules and services provided. The schedule is determined by self-scheduling of designated days.

Requirements

• Valid Cosmetology License
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of services to clients, including shampoo, dry, set/roll, perm and cut all hair types.
• Establish rapport and trust with residents, ensuring a comfortable experience during appointment.
• Ensure that workspace and tools are clean, sanitized and in compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Work on a contracted basis, accommodating resident schedules.
• Keep records of daily schedule and log of services provided.
• Self-schedule designated days.
