Bean Plant - Operator I (2nd Shift 1pm-9pm)
About The Position
Ready Foods is a family-owned and operated custom food processor that has been providing excellent service and products to the restaurant and retail industries since 1972. We produce a wide variety of products including soups, sauces, salsas, and beans. This role involves cooking beans in industrial-sized machines (200 gallons), safely moving raw materials, properly packaging product, and monitoring product per the recipe to ensure food safety and quality requirements. The operator must adhere to the highest standards of company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
- Lifting up to 75 pounds frequently
- Must be able to read and write
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Nice To Haves
- Previous work experience in a food facility is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Cooking variety of beans in industrial size machines (200 gallons)
- Safely moving raw materials and properly packaging product to meet production needs.
- Monitoring product per the recipe ensuring food safety and quality requirements to endure customer satisfaction.
- Adhering to the highest standards of company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
