About The Position

The Grandview Hotel, managed by Essex Hotel Management, is currently seeking a DRIVEN Beach Attendant. We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Beach Attendant to join our team. As a Beach Attendant, you will ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests while they enjoy the beach. You will maintain a clean and safe environment, provide excellent customer service, and assist guests with any needs they may have.

Requirements

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
• Ability to work weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all guests by monitoring the beach and enforcing safety rules
• Maintain a clean and organized beach area, including picking up trash and debris
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting guests with any needs they may have
• Set up and take down beach equipment, such as chairs and umbrellas
• Assist with beach activities and events, such as volleyball tournaments and bonfires
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust beach operations accordingly
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management
