About The Position

Up to 3 Early Intervention at the Institute for Disabilities Research, Policy and Practice at USU is hiring evaluators (5-20 hr/wk) to administer the Battelle Developmental Inventory 3 (BDI-3) standardized evaluation to children under 3 years old. Up to 3 will provide training to administer and score the BDI-3. The evaluation is conducted in person at one of the Up to 3 offices or at a family’s home if requested. Work schedule is flexible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, early childhood development, human development and family studies, social work, or other related degree.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of development for young children.

Nice To Haves

  • Baby Watch Early Intervention Credential.
  • Experience in an Early Intervention program in Utah.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate competence administering and scoring the BDI-3 standardized evaluation.
  • Applicant must complete USU trainings.
  • Complete Baby Watch Early Intervention Certification.
