About The Position

The Sales BDC Representative is responsible for managing inbound and outbound customer communications, responding to sales inquiries, following up with leads, scheduling appointments for the sales team, and supporting daily dealership operations. This role serves as the first point of contact for many customers and plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Respond to internet leads, phone leads, text messages, emails, and chat inquiries.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for the sales department.
  • Follow up with prospective customers to generate and maintain sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and notes within the CRM system.
  • Complete daily assigned tasks, activities, and follow-up campaigns.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth customer handoff.
  • Contact unsold showroom, phone, and internet prospects to re-engage interest.
  • Monitor appointment status and conduct follow-up communication with customers.
  • Meet or exceed appointment-setting and lead-response goals.
  • Maintain knowledge of dealership inventory, promotions, and sales processes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while representing the dealership professionally.
