About The Position

Coggin Honda Deland is seeking energetic, customer-focused Sales Appointment Agents to join their Business Development Center (BDC). As a BDC Sales Appointment Agent, you will manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls and emails, identify customer needs, provide information on vehicle inventory, and offer solutions. This role requires effective communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to redefine the car-buying experience. You will be responsible for contacting and communicating with customers, answering calls professionally, using scripts to gather customer information, documenting interactions in the dealership's customer management system, and meeting daily and monthly performance goals related to phone up percentages, appointments set, and show and sold percentages. You will also complete internet lead management work plans, adhere to dealership processes, and dedicate time to following up on your own prospects. The role involves role-playing during training and requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to create and maintain customer relationships, punctuality, reliable transportation, advanced computer and phone skills, and a minimum typing speed of 35-40 words per minute. Prior experience in customer tracking systems, retail, sales, BDC, receptionist, call center, or appointment setting is preferred. Proficiency in various languages is a plus. Candidates must be at least eighteen years of age, maintain a valid driver's license, and pass pre-employment screenings.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
  • Maintain valid Drivers License
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using customer tracking systems to track calls to customers preferred
  • Prior retail, sales, service BDC, receptionist, call center, or sales BDC experience preferred
  • Appointment setting experience a plus
  • Great communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage large amounts of inbound/outbound calls and emails in a timely manner.
  • Identify customer needs, provide information on vehicle inventory, research issues and provide solutions or alternatives.
  • Contact and communicate with customers to identify automotive needs.
  • Answer all calls in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
  • Use scripts to collect all pertinent customer information and document in the system accordingly.
  • Enter all appointments into the dealership customer management system.
  • Adhere to Asbury phone scripts.
  • Maintain product knowledge certification and articulate thorough knowledge and understanding of products.
  • Meet all daily and monthly performance goals; phone up percentages, appointments set percentages, show and sold percentages.
  • Make a high volume amount of calls a day.
  • Document all communication with the customer in the customer management system.
  • Complete internet lead management work plans on a daily basis.
  • Follow all dealership processes and procedures, high frequency of contact with customers.
  • Dedicate at least 3 hours of uninterrupted time each day to follow up on your own prospects.
  • Role play in front of team members during training.
