About The Position

Kunes Auto Group is seeking a BDC (Business Development Center) Manager to lead their BDC team of 2 representatives at Sterling Ford and Sterling CDJR dealerships. This role involves managing inbound and outbound calls, internet leads, and equity mining efforts. The manager will be responsible for creating a positive and productive work environment and will directly impact store performance and customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership position.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Auto Sales Management experience required.
  • Prior experience in BDC Management is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable.
  • Comfortable working with CRMs, lead management systems, and dealership tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the BDC team, including hiring, coaching, and motivating representatives.
  • Handle all incoming sales and service calls.
  • Monitor call recordings and coach for quality and effectiveness.
  • Manage internet leads and dealership CRM manifest follow-up.
  • Make outbound prospecting and appointment reminder calls.
  • Oversee no-show follow-ups, CSI calls, and service drive opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers and GMs on showroom traffic and strategy.
  • Review and approve bonus/commission numbers for representatives.
