About The Position
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to join their team in Ventura County. This role involves providing behavioral support services to adults with emotional, behavioral, or cognitive differences. The BCBA will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, conduct assessments, develop and implement behavior support plans, and provide training to staff and family members. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavioral Analysis or related field.
- BCBA certification required
- A minimum of two years of experience designing and implementing behavior modification intervention services is preferred.
- Must have strong applied behavior analysis skills and significant experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders-2 years minimum
- Significant experience writing Positive Behavior support plans and conducting FBA’s- 2 years minimum preferred
- Training staff preferred
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver’s license must be maintained.

Responsibilities
- Conduct appropriate assessments (including functional behavioral assessments)
- Develop, implement and monitor behavioral support plans of assigned individuals
- Serve as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team providing care and appropriate treatment to the ages and populations served
- Instruct staff, family members, and/or legal guardian/conservators’ on how to implement a behavior support plan using face-to-face instruction, role modeling and coaching
- Ensure that proper documentation is completed, and provide supervision to Behavior Specialists
