About The Position

The Edinburg Center is seeking talented individuals to join their team as BCBAs. This role involves conducting functional behavior assessments, designing behavior support plans, and providing training and supervision to staff and caregivers. The position offers a balanced caseload and the opportunity to work with children and families in the community.

Requirements

  • BCBA/LABA or close to obtaining it
  • Experience conducting functional behavior assessments
  • Experience in goal development and design of positive behavior support plans
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills
  • Team player
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS or other related assessments

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and learning needs assessments in family homes with a balanced caseload
  • Design positive behavior support and skill acquisition plans with individualized behavioral goals
  • Implement, model and monitor progress of individualized behavioral plans based on data analysis
  • Provide training and supervision to Behavior Technicians
  • Train parents, caregivers and BA level staff who implement plans with children and families on principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Collaborate with youth team members
