About The Position
Devereux is hiring Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in Santa Barbara, California. This role offers a competitive salary, flexible start times, a small caseload of 4 individuals, and the opportunity to work in one location. BCBAs will join a multidisciplinary team using ABA and positive behavior supports, with access to the ASCEND program for career development, coaching, skill-building, and financial support. Devereux California is a therapeutic behavioral health treatment facility offering residential services, community living, day programs, and clinical services for adults with multiple diagnoses.
Requirements
- Master’s degree and/or Ph.D./PsyD in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field.
- BCBA certification required.
- Minimum of two years of experience as certified BCBA.
- Designing and implementing behavior modification intervention services is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide behavioral support services to individuals under our care.
- Conduct appropriate assessments, including Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs).
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs).
- Serve as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, delivering care appropriate to the ages and populations served.
- Instruct staff, family members, and/or legal guardians on how to implement BSPs through face-to-face instruction, role modeling, and coaching.
- Ensure proper documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide supervision to Registered Behavioral Technicians/RBTs.
