About The Position

The BCBA is responsible for the development, assessment, and analysis of behavioral programs, data analysis, and functional assessment of behaviors for our clients. The BCBA is also responsible for the supervision of Behavior Technicians in order to ensure treatment fidelity. The BCBA conducts formal assessments (e.g., ABLLS, VB- Mapp, etc.) and writes individualized Behavioral Support programs in coordination with the child's caregiver. The BCBA participates in staff training and coordinates meetings with the client’s caregivers to formally review the data and provide parent training. Requirements

  • Currently a BCBA
  • Massachusetts Licensure-LABA
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Experience with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities with accompanying behavioral disorders
  • Ability, with training, to perform appropriate physical restraint as needed
  • Capability to work independently as well as in a team environment with colleagues and Behavior Technicians
  • Ability to articulate well in both verbal and written communication
  • Aptitude to coordinate with others in recognizable and demonstrated ways
  • Helps resolve conflicts when they arise and conducts oneself in a professional manner at all times
  • Excellent attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Development, assessment, and analysis of behavioral programs
  • Data analysis
