About The Position

CCSN Behavioral Health is seeking a Program Coordinator and Licensed Behavior Analyst to support our ABA Clinic in Glastonbury, CT. This role reports directly to the Program Director and involves leadership and training responsibilities to support ABA service delivery. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week. The Center for Children with Special Needs is an interdisciplinary mental health practice established in 1994, providing clinical and consultative services to individuals with autism and related neurodevelopmental disabilities. Requirements

  • license in applied behavior analysis in CT (Required)
  • certificate as a BCBA through the BACB (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Direct supervision of Lead Behavior Technicians (LBT)
  • Completing treatment fidelity checks on aspects of LBT role
  • Supervises the LBTs completion of on the floor onboarding of new behavior technicians
  • Provides on the floor supervision and clinical direction to BCBA and Behavior Technician (BT) team
  • In conjunction with Program Director, supports the development of professional development training and clinical skill-set of the BCBAs
  • Provides group supervision to BACB fieldwork candidates and oversees management of supervision hours
  • Supports the onboarding process and training for new BCBA team members
  • Leads clinical team meetings and meets with assigned clinical team members for at least one hour per week to support case needs, logistical maintenance of caseload, support needs, and leadership development
  • Provides peer review of skill-based and functional assessments, treatment plans, and other related clinical documentation
  • Completes treatment fidelity on BCBA case managers on all aspects of the role
  • Oversees ABA clinic site, in conjunction with Program Director, and meets directly with the Program Director to coordinate administrative and clinical activities for the full clinic
  • Provides behavior analytic direct treatment and supervision to a reduced caseload of children and adolescents with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related neurodevelopmental disorders primarily in a clinic-based setting
  • Provides supervision to a team of behavior technicians
  • Provides in the moment on the floor support and active problem solving for all aspects of case management and/or clinic day to day operations
  • Ensures appropriate climate and culture, dissemination, and training of ABA clinic practices and policies is upheld throughout daily clinic activities
  • Works with front office team and related stakeholders to maintain scheduling and secure appropriate coverage for patient sessions
  • Serves as liaison between clinical and operational systems and their implementation among all clinicians
