About The Position

Beachmont Behavioral Health is a clinician-led ABA organization serving Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. Our mission is straightforward: deliver ethically sound, data-driven outcomes for children and families while giving BCBAs the conditions to do their best work. We want you to focus on providing quality treatment, not to worry about meeting minimum a billable requirement. This is a clinical (non-executive) supervision role. You’ll continue to receive mentorship and supervision from a BCBA-D clinician, conduct assessments, write behavior intervention plans (BIPs), provide caregiver and technician training, and ensure treatment integrity and positive clinical outcomes. Funding sources you'll interact with are CenCal, TCRC, and Commercial Insurances.

Requirements

  • Master’s in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
  • Current BCBA certification in good standing; eligible for payer credentialing.
  • Valid CA driver’s license; reliable transportation for in-home/community services.
  • Strong fluency with ABA measurement, experimental/logical analysis, and supervision best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 Yrs Experience
  • Spanish bilingual (highly desired but not required).
  • Experience supervising techs/RBTs in home/community settings.
  • Familiarity with ReThinkBH or similar EHR/practice platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and skills-based assessments; develop data-based treatment plans and BIPs.
  • Oversee treatment integrity via direct supervision, fidelity checks, and performance feedback for RBTs/behavior technicians.
  • Deliver caregiver training using behavior-skills training (BST) and empirically supported curricula.
  • Monitor outcomes via reliable data systems; adjust plans using visual analysis and structured decision rules.
  • Complete clinically sound, payer-compliant documentation (assessment, progress, treatment reports) on schedule.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners (e.g., SLP/OT/pediatrics/schools).
  • Uphold BACB Ethics Code v2.0 and privacy laws (HIPAA/FERPA).
