About The Position

FirstSteps is seeking a BCBA Clinical Program Director who is passionate about providing evidence-based, behavior analytic treatment to children with autism and related learning differences. This role offers a unique opportunity to practice ABA thoughtfully and compassionately, with a strong emphasis on mentorship, clinical leadership, and meaningful patient relationships. The organization is clinician-led and privately owned, prioritizing exceptional care for children and fulfilling careers for clinicians. Program Directors maintain a strong clinical presence by conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, observing and coaching RBTs, and partnering with caregivers and interdisciplinary teams. Each Program Director also mentors a cohort of RBTs, fostering their development and a collaborative culture. The model is designed to support approximately 12 to 14 children, allowing for deep engagement with each case. Unlike other organizations, FirstSteps avoids oversized caseloads and telehealth-primary supervision, focusing instead on in-person collaboration, strong relationships, and continuous learning.
