About The Position

Connect n Care ABA is hiring a BCBA Assessor to join our clinical team in Virginia. This flexible, part-time hybrid role is focused on comprehensive assessments, clinical decision-making, and treatment recommendations - without ongoing case management or supervision responsibilities. Requirements

• Current BCBA certification in good standing
• Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
• Active licensure
• 3+ years of ABA experience, including assessment experience
• Strong clinical writing and documentation skills
• Knowledge of insurance authorization and medical necessity
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Located in Virginia or a bordering state

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial and reassessment evaluations
• Administer, score, and interpret behavioral and adaptive assessments
• Conduct caregiver and stakeholder interviews
• Observe clients in home, school, clinic, and community settings
• Develop clinically sound treatment recommendations
• Prepare detailed assessment reports
• Determine medical necessity and recommend appropriate service levels
• Collaborate with intake, authorization, and clinical leadership teams
• Maintain timely and compliant documentation
