About The Position

BCA M&P Functional & Integration Sr Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Materials and Processes Engineering Functional and Integration Senior Manager (Level L) to join the BCA Engineering Materials & Processes (M&P) organization. This Senior Manager will lead the a team across Seattle Seattle and Everett, WA. The selected candidate will be required to travel across sites approximately 10% of the time. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical excellence in M&P Engineering while also being an engaging and motivating leader for the team. Position Responsibilities: Lead integration across all BCA M&P Srs, MP&P FCE Office, and BCA Engineering Functional teams Lead Multi-model Engineering and Manufacturing Technology portfolios Lead Mult-program paint, portable tools, and assembly teams and labs Lead BCA M&P Delivery and Production Support labs and own Lab Operations strategy and execution Collaborate with BCA M&P Chief engineer on cross-organizational strategies Partner with BTI Leadership to strengthen cross-M&P Effectiveness Lead BCA M&P Functional activities for staffing, promotions, and skill Support LRBP, budgeting and Overhead Risks and Opportunities Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 5+ years of leadership experience 1+ years of experience in Materials & Processing Engineering 1+ years of experience with the Boeing Production System Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees Strong communication skills and working directly with executives or senior leaders Ability to adapt to a changing statement of work Experience working with Manufacturing and Safety organizations Experience integration across organizations Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
  • 1+ years of experience in Materials & Processing Engineering
