This role is responsible for battery pack design with an emphasis on architectural and electrical aspects. The engineer will develop test procedures and cell cycling equipment for internal and external lab evaluations, perform technical risk and performance analysis and simulation, and maintain time records and project reports. Participation in process improvement is also expected. The role involves collaborating with customers and the development team to analyze and document requirements, and working with other engineers on the global team. Additionally, the engineer will provide technical guidance through all phases of the APQP development process, support customer integration and validation of battery packs (onsite when required), and assist program management in post-sourcing reviews. The position operates under TISAX confidentiality level [Level 2] and requires ensuring legal compliance with state, federal, and OSHA requirements, adherence to ISO procedures, and compliance with all company policies, work instructions, and procedures.
