Requirements
- Driver’s License (Required)
- High School Graduate or Equivalent (GED) (Required)
- Proficiency in the use of mechanical tools required
- Ability to obtain forklift certificate required
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication skills, written and verbal to communicate and/or document maintenance needs and status of projects.
- Must report for work regularly and on time, as scheduled.
- Must be able to take direction from supervisor(s) and works well with others.
- Must work well under pressure, and is able to organize and prioritize work assignments, and meet established deadlines.
- Must perform assigned tasks accurately and completely.
- Must be flexible and able to handle changes in work requirements productively.
Nice To Haves
- Hilo License (Preferred)
- 1 year mechanical/machinery maintenance and/or repair experience or related technical school certificate (strongly preferred)
Responsibilities
- Conduct basic routine maintenance of equipment (including but not limited to batteries, racking, watering systems, and area)
- Discuss repair orders and priorities with leadership, as well as any issues or conditions which may affect the operation of equipment
- Review and follow the preventative maintenance schedule to ensure equipment maintenance occurs within appropriate timeframe to prevent breakdowns + down time
- Utilize maintenance systems such as Square Rigger/other software as appropriate to ensure accurate and timely documentation of work and inventory
- Order replacement parts, ensure that the parts ordered are correct and complete at the time of order.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and a safe working environment.
