About The Position

This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing industrial batteries and chargers. The technician will also perform planned maintenance on customer equipment, maintain a service van and its inventory, and process paperwork after job completion.

Requirements

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

• Technical degree
• Previous battery and charger repair experience
• Welding skills
• Knowledge of various types of testing equipment
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
• Good written/verbal communication skills
• Good customer care skills

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair industrial batteries and chargers.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer industrial batteries and chargers.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.
