This role is responsible for executing deliverables in support of the supply chain organization's business objectives, ensuring that business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product, and financial initiatives. The position communicates to all levels of the organization, within the function as well as other functions, suppliers, and customers. It is responsible for supporting relationship management with logistic suppliers and service providers. The role involves creating and maintaining data analysis tools necessary for scheduling activities, developing the weekly Battery Assembly operating plan, and the daily Fascia Paint schedule based on customer requirements and plant production plans. The position also requires understanding and communicating significant changes to the appropriate audience, representing Spring Hill Battery Assembly on RESS sector scheduling reviews, and ensuring the daily build schedule is populated in production management systems for Battery Assembly and Fascia Paint. Additionally, it involves updating inventory management systems with daily and weekly schedule details, maintaining production calendars, and supporting year-end system activities. A key responsibility is obtaining or maintaining 49CFR Dangerous Goods Shipping Certification and adhering to strict compliance with 49CFR requirements for all outbound shipments. The role coordinates outbound shipments from Battery Assembly for customer requirements or special requests, communicates directly with customers to coordinate shipments, and ensures financial accountability for all inventory. It also manages the Battery Assembly scrap system end-to-end, including processing corrections, updating user access, monitoring and responding to error reports, and publishing metrics to ensure organizational compliance. Support is provided for site compliance with CCA shipment requirements, including daily and weekly status monitoring, scheduling outbound shipments, creating outbound shipping documentation, and addressing discrepancies with CCA. The role ensures processes and evidence are in place to comply with GM Global Manufacturing System elements and processes. Flexibility and adaptability regarding functional responsibilities are expected, as they may change to align with business requirements.
