About The Position

This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing industrial batteries and chargers, performing planned maintenance, managing a service van and its inventory, and processing job-related paperwork. Crown Equipment operates globally with numerous manufacturing facilities and retail locations, providing comprehensive material handling solutions and support services.
Requirements
- Less than 2 years related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Technical degree
- Previous battery and charger repair experience
- Welding skills
- Knowledge of various types of testing equipment
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
- Good written/verbal communication skills
- Good customer care skills
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair industrial batteries and chargers.
- Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer industrial batteries and chargers.
- Maintain a service van and its inventory.
- Process paperwork after completion of each job.
