About The Position

My Three Dogs West Coleman is seeking a friendly, dependable pet bather to provide dogs with a safe and comfortable spa experience. The role involves basic bathing and grooming services, supporting professional groomers, communicating with pet parents, and helping maintain an organized and clean facility. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, eager to learn, comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds, and committed to teamwork and animal care. Duties may be adjusted to meet the company’s evolving needs.

Requirements

• Able to work well with others and coordinate to complete appointments and care for guests.
• Able to communicate promptly and effectively with team members, groomers, management, and pet parents.
• Comfortable using computers and technology and learning and operating kennel software.
• Flexible schedule, with willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong observation and attention-to-detail skills to assess pets’ needs and report issues.
• Willingness to learn and develop grooming and animal-care knowledge.
• Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds.
• Able to stand and work upright for multiple hours, lift and handle dogs of all sizes, and remain active throughout a shift.
• A genuine love for animals.

• Previous pet-care or animal experience is preferred but not required; the employer is willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bathing and grooming services, including bathing, brushing, and nail trims, for dogs of varied sizes and coat types.
• Support professional grooming staff by bathing their dogs and assisting as needed.
• Learn about grooming products, tools, techniques, and their appropriate uses; continue developing knowledge of dog care and grooming needs.
• Use approved restraint techniques and personal protective equipment, and follow established safety protocols.
• Book appointments and record services and invoices in kennel software.
• Consult with pet parents about bathing services and recommend services based on each dog’s condition and coat type.
• Communicate with pet parents about their dogs’ services and any issues encountered during appointments.
• Keep workspaces clean, disinfected, and organized for upcoming appointments.
• Help with other facility duties when there are no bathing appointments, such as laundry, front office support, monitoring play spaces, and cleaning.
• Work with the team to complete appointments and care for guests.
